J.R. Smith back in Cavaliers' lineup Friday night
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward J.R. Smith (ankle) will return to the first unit on Friday night against the Detroit Pistons.
Smith returns after a three-game absence. He's currently averaging 10.5 points and 3.0 three-pointers per games this season in 32 minutes of action (eight games). Richard Jefferson and Iman Shumpert will log less minutes as a result.
Smith is projected to record 12.5 points, 3.0 3-pointers, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals on Friday night versus the Pistons.
