Dallas Mavericks guard J.J. Barea (calf) is expected to be sidelined for the next six weeks.
Barea was averaging a career-high 33.1 minutes per game to start the year with Deron Williams missing time, and he responded by posting a career-high 16.3 points to go with 5.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds. Look for Seth Curry to see a significant boost in minutes in Barea's absence.
