Marcus Smart double-doubles in Celtics' Friday win
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart started on Friday against the New York Knicks and went for 12 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three steals and two triples in 34 minutes.
Smart should continue to see minutes in the 30s even when Jae Crowder comes back, but until then Smart has been very good in the starting lineup. Crowder is trying to come back by November 16th, so Smart should have another couple of opportunities to start before then.
Smart is averaging 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 31.8 minutes per game this season. He has a solid .500 effective field goal percentage in five games.
