Al Horford (concussion) remains sidelined at Celtics' practice
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (concussion) did not practice on Monday.
Horford is aiming for a Wednesday return date versus the Washington Wizards, but remains extremely questionable according to head coach Brad Stevens, who stated Monday that the big man hasn't progressed in the concussion protocol. The Celtics' starting five remains undetermined for that contest if Horford doesn't return, but Stevens has implied that he would prefer not using Tyler Zeller at the five for extended periods. Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley see the biggest upticks in a Horford-less Boston offense.
Horford is averaging 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.3 blocks this season. Through his first three games with the Celtics, the big man has earned a 0.1 nERD.
