Al Horford out again on Sunday for Boston
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (concussion) did not practice on Saturday and will not play on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets.
Horford will miss his third straight game on Sunday, but he is running on a treadmill, so he looks to be advancing through the league's concussion protocol well. Tyler Zeller and Amir Johnson get a nice bump and with Jae Crowder still out, Jaylen Brown will see minutes at both forward spots on Sunday.
Horford is off to a slow start in a Boston uniform, averaging just 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 29.3 minutes per game. However, his .593 effective field goal percentage is easily on pace for a career high for the 10-year veteran.
