Brandon Ingram held to two points in preseason debut for Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers first round pick Brandon Ingram scored only two points with two rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes of action in his preseason debut on Tuesday.

What It Means:

One preseason game obviously isn't a huge indicator, but the performance wasn't surprising, as the Lakers expected Ingram to need some time to adapt to the NBA game. He will see playing time behind Luol Deng as he develops this season.

The Lakers rank 29th in our power rankings this year, and we project them to finish teh season 28-54, with only a 0.2 percent change of making the playoffs
