Josh Richardson (right knee) out six-to-eight weeks for Heat
Miami Heat guard/forward Josh Richardson (right MCL) is expected to miss about six-to-eight weeks.
It's a tough blow for the rising sophomore, but fortunately the injury won't require surgery and he shouldn't miss too many games if rehab goes well. Tyler Johnson and Dion Waiters should fill the void for Miami at shooting guard and Wayne Ellington could also see a boost. Richardson could be a sneaky pick up, particularly as a source of steals and three-pointers, once he's able to return.
Richardson posted a 0.7 nERD, which ranked 73rd, in 52 games last season as a rookie. He averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, while recording a .569 true shooting percentage.
