Yi Jianlian

Lakers come to terms on deal with Yi Jianlian

The Los Angeles Lakers will reportedly sign forward/center Yi Jianlian for the veteran's minimum.

What It Means:

The sixth overall pick from the 2007 draft, Jianlian drew high praise at the 2016 Olympic Games while playing for Team China. He likely won't be fantasy-relevant in a crowded frontcourt in Los Angeles that already includes Julius Randle and Larry Nance.

Jianlian averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game over his five seasons in the NBA, posting a .474 true shooting percentage and 12.9 percent total rebound rate.
