The Phoenix Suns announced that Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) will not return to Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
What It Means:
Nurkic suffered what the team has now called a right ankle sprain during their Monday night game against the Spurs and will not return to the game. He could be in danger of missing the team's next game against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Nurkic had been having a strong night, with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists across 19 minutes. If he does miss time, the Suns could turn back to Drew Eubanks for coverage at center.
