Chris Bosh

Heat President Pat Riley provides no updates on Chris Bosh

Miami Heat President Pat Riley did not provide any updates on forward Chris Bosh's (blood clots) situation during Saturday's press conference.

What It Means:

"I know Chris wants to play, and we would be open to that," said Riley. "But this is still fluid. There's not an answer." If Bosh has to be on blood thinning medication, he can't play in the NBA. There have and will continue to be constant talk between Bosh's doctors and the team, but as of now the Heat won't know their All Star forward's status until late August or early September.

Bosh was solid when on the court last season, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 53 games. He had a 6.1 nERD that ranked 26th in the league, but it remains unclear if he will play in the league again.
