Warriors' Draymond Green reportedly arrested for assault
Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green was arrested for Assault in East Lansing on Sunday, per MLive.
While the police department did not confirm Green's arrest by name, they stated, "What I can confirm is that we did arrest a current NBA basketball player this weekend and he was arrested for assault." If this does turn out to be Green, the incident will put a serious damper on the excitement the Kevin Durant signing brought to the Bay Area.
Green finished last season ranked 12th in the NBA with a 10.2 nERD. He averaged career-highs with 14.0 points, 7.4 assists and 9.5 rebounds in 34.7 minutes per game. His .587 true shooting percentage, 14.7 percent total rebound rate and 29.0 percent assist rate were also all career-best marks.
