Knicks, Brandon Jennings close to agreement
The New York Knicks will sign point guard Brandon Jennings to a one-year, $5 million deal.
What It Means:
With Jennings and Derrick Rose both in tow, the Knicks now have two oft-injured point guards in the backcourt. Jennings has played just 89 total games the past two seasons.
Jennings ranked 87th with a -0.7 nERD last year and had career-lows across the board at 18.1 minutes, 6.9 points, 3.5 assists and 1.1 3-points on 36.8 percent shooting from the field.
