Dirk Nowitzki reportedly committed to staying in Dallas
Dallas Mavericks' forward/center DIrk Nowitzki "remains committed to staying in [Dallas]," ESPN's Tim MacMahon reports.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise, as even when he opted out of his contract, expectations remained that he would re-sign with Dallas.
Nowitzki ranked 42nd in the NBA with a 4.1 nERD last season, and averaged 18.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game. His .555 true shooting percentage was well below his career average, but his 11.4 total rebound rate was his best since 2012, he posted a career-low 6.4 percent turnover rate, and managed a 19.0 player efficiency rating.
