Andrew Nicholson agrees to 4-year deal with Wizards
Free agent forward Andrew Nicholson has agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal with the Washington Wizards.
Nicholson was the 19th overall pick in 2012, and he is coming off a solid season despite only appearing in 56 games in Orlando. He played very well late in the season for the Magic, and that was enough to warrant the Wizards handing him over $6 million per season.
Nicholson averaged 6.9 points and 3.6 boards in 14.7 minutes per game for the Magic last season. His per-36 numbers from 2015-'16 were 16.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, and he is coming off a career high .537 effective field goal percentage.
