Mike Conley will not meet with the Rockets
Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley, set to be an unrestricted free agent, will not meet with the Houston Rockets.
What It Means:
Widely regarded as the top available point guard, Conley is a highly-coveted player this offseason. The Grizzlies are thought to be the favorite to land Conley's signature, but the Dallas Mavericks are making a strong push.
Conley finished last season ranked 50th in the NBA with a 3.1 nERD. He posted the second-highest Player Efficiency Rating of his career (19.4), the highest assist rate of his career (32.7 percent) and the lowest turnover rate of his career at (9.5 percent). To boot, his defensive abilities are also highly regarded.
