Sixers ramping up efforts to get Celtics' No. 3 pick
The Philadelphia 76ers are pushing harder in their trade efforts to acquire the No. 3 overall pick in Thursday's draft from the Boston Celtics.
Boston is in a great situation. The Celtics have a top pick -- in addition to several other picks -- but they have a good roster, which allows them to very flexible. Boston general manager Danny Ainge isn't afraid to make big moves, so expect a lot of chatter around this pick today.
Boston has been rumored to be pursuing some top-level players in exchange for the No. 3 pick, but Philly won't be able to offer any such players in return. The 76ers best assets (aside from the top overall pick) are Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor.
