Zoran Dragic

Sources: Zoran Dragic to play in Boston

ESPN's Brain Windhorst reports that the Heat and the Celtics have agreed on a deal that would send Zoran Dragic and a second round pick to Boston in exchange for a "heavily protected" second round draft pick.

What It Means:

This is a win-win deal. With the departure of Zoran Dragic and the recent trade of Shabazz Napier, the Heat could save around $11 million in salary. While the Celtics' perspicacity regarding their transactions this summer (read: trading Gerald Wallace) has enabled them to take the likes of Zoran Dragic and Perry Jones for free.

With the wealth solid young guards in Boston, it may be tough for Zoran and his -0.5 nERD to find playing time next season under Brad Stevens.
