Dejounte Murray (illness) uncertain for Hawks Tuesday
Atlanta Hawks point guard Dejounte Murray (non-COVID illness) is questionable for Tuesday versus the Detroit Pistons.
Murray is feeling under the weather and could miss his first game since December 16. The Hawks are on the front end of a back-to-back Tuesday, so they may be more inclined to hold Murray out. Bogdan Bogdanovic, AJ Griffin, and Aaron Holiday will have more minutes available if Murray is inactive. The Hawks prefer to have Bogdanovic stick with the second unit, so Griffin or Holiday would be the favorite to replace Murray in the starting lineup.
numberFire's models project Murray for 35.4 minutes and 43.6 FanDuel points on Tuesday. He averaged 44.0 FanDuel points in three previous matchups with the Pistons this season, higher than his season averare of 39.3 FanDuel points. The Pistons are allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards this season.
