Ja Morant (suspension) away from Grizzlies indefinitely
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (suspension) doesn't have a timetable to return, head coach Taylor Jenkins said after Sunday's 135-129 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Grizzlies announced on Saturday that Morant would be away from the team for at least two games, but it sounds like it might be longer than that. Tyus Jones is expected to start at point guard until Morant is available. There will also be more work for Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard.
Jones scored 61.6 FanDuel points in 36.5 minutes on Sunday, with 25 points (9-14 field goals, 5-7 3-pointers), 3 rebounds, 12 assists, and 5 steals. numberFire's models project him for 34.4 minutes and 33.9 FanDuel points on Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
