Brandon Clarke (Achilles) out for rest of Grizzlies' season
Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke will miss the rest of the season, his agent told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Clarke tore his Achilles in the team's loss to Denver Friday night. As a result, he has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign. It's a brutal blow for Memphis, as Clarke served as a vital big off the bench who could play defense on the interior and score efficiently. Now, Santi Aldama and Jake LaRavia will see increased roles.
In 56 games this season, Clarke is averaging 10.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 21.4 FanDuel points.
