Jonas Valanciunas (quad) expected back Tuesday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas (right quad soreness) is probable for Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Valanciunas is on track to return after sitting out Sunday versus the Sacramento Kings. Larry Nance Jr. will likely shift back to the second unit after filling in for Valanciunas with the starters. Jaxson Hayes and Willy Hernangomez will also have fewer minutes available. Valanciunas scored 13 points with 17 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block versus the Hawks earlier this season.
numberFire's models project JV for 25.2 minutes and 30.5 FanDuel points against Atlanta. He scored 38.9 FanDuel points versus the Hawks on November 5.
