Jonas Valanciunas (ankle) not on minutes limit for Raptors in Game 5
Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas (ankle) has no minutes limit, and Toronto coach Dwane Casey hopes to play him early in the game.
"We hope to get him in, find him some minutes and get his feet wet," Casey said. "It might be a shock to his lungs." Casey doesn't like Valanciunas matching up against Channing Frye and the Cavaliers' second unit, but seems reluctant to start him ahead of Bismack Biyombo, given the Raptors' recent success. Unfortunately for DFS purposes, Biyombo's playing time should take a hit with Valanciunas in the mix.
Valanciunas is averaging 15.0 points and 12.1 rebounds per game in 28.5 minutes per game this postseason. He is also leading the league this postseason in Total Rebounding Percentage at 25.1 percent. He ranked 20th with a 7.6 nERD during the year. Our models project Valanciunas to log 18.9 minutes and put up 8.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks tonight against the Cavaliers in Game 5.
