Stephen Curry not where he needs to be for Golden State
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry "may just not be quite where he needs to be" right now, coach Steve Kerr said Wednesday.
Kerr said Curry is not hurt, but a previous report said he's playing at 70 percent. In the last two games, the Oklahoma City Thunder have put a stop to Curry catch-and-shoot shots with the MVP making just 1-of-10 on those. Maybe the home crowd will help him on Thursday with the Warriors needing Curry to resemble the regular-season version of himself.
Curry is averaging 24.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the postseason with an Effective Field Goal Percentage (eFG%) of 56.1 percent. However, in the Western Conference Finals, Curry's eFG% has dropped to 52.7 percent.
