Dyson Daniels (ankle) ruled out Wednesday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans point guard Dyson Daniels (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Daniels twisted his right ankle during Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets and exited early. He will miss at least one contest, which will free up backcourt bench minutes for Jose Alvarado and Devonte' Graham. Brandon Ingram (toe) is returning from a two-month absence on Wednesday, so he will take over a chunk of the ball-handling responsibilities.
numberFire's models project Alvarado for 17.8 minutes and 17.2 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $4,800 salary on the Main slate. Graham ($4,000) is projected for 13.9 minutes and 11.6 FanDuel points. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Pelicans’ implied total (115.75) is tied for No. 15 out of 20 active teams today and the game total (229.0) is the second-lowest on the board.
