Domantas Sabonis (illness) questionable Friday for Kings
Sacramento Kings power forward Domantas Sabonis (illness) is questionable for Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Sabonis was sidelined for Wednesday's game and he missed practice on Thursday due to a non-COVID illness. Richaun Holmes started in place of Sabonis on Wednesday and scored 16 points with 11 rebounds and an assist in 31 minutes.
numberFire's models project Domas for 38.1 minutes and 49.5 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $10,300 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Kings’ implied total (122.25) is No. 3 out of 18 active teams today. The Thunder are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers this season, so it will be a plus matchup for Sabonis or Holmes. De'Aaron Fox is another potential beneficiary if Sabonis sits, as he sees a 1.6 percentage-point increase in usage with the big man off the floor this season.
