Steven Adams battered, Oklahoma City hammered by Warriors in Game 2

Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams survived a variety of injury scares on Wednesday, finishing the Game 2 defeat with nine points and 10 rebounds (and zero assists, steals or blocks) in 36 minutes.

What It Means:

Adams came in with a bruised thumb, he briefly exited when Festus Ezeli landed on his back in the first quarter, and he was shaken up again when Draymond Green inadvertently kneed him prior to halftime. The Thunder's big lineups didn't have much success in Game 2, but Adams is averaging a double-double in the postseason. DFS owners can rely on him for hefty playing time as the series shifts to Oklahoma.

While earning a 4.9 nERD, which ranked 36th in the league, Adams averaged 8.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game throughout the regular season. So far in the playoffs, his numbers have improved to 10.5 points and 10.1 rebounds in 32.8 minutes per contest. His 66.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage is also up from 61.3 during the year.
