LaMarcus Aldridge scores 38, hits 18 of 23 shots as Spurs crush Thunder
San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge put on a shooting clinic in a 124-92 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, making 18 of 23 shots for 38 points with six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one 3-pointer.
Aldridge and the Spurs were on cruise control on Saturday night, and they led the Thunder from wire to wire. The Thunder will get another chance at slowing down San Antonio in Game 2 on Monday.
Aldridge has been really good in the playoffs. He is averaging 19.2 points and 7.6 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game. Saturday was only the second time he has played 30 or more minutes in the playoffs, and this postseason his Effective Field Goal Percentage is an insane 60.7 percent.
