Patrick Patterson starting for Raptors, Luis Scola benched

Toronto Raptors forward/center Patrick Patterson will move into the starting five for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers, sending Luis Scola to the bench.

What It Means:

The Raptors haven't been getting much of anything from Scola through the first four games of the series, so it looks like head coach Dwane Casey would like to infuse some offense into the first unit with Patterson. Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll and Jonas Valanciunas will join Patterson in the starting five for tonight's game, and Patterson could be someone to consider as a punt in DFS given the increased opportunity.

Patterson is averaging 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.3 3-pointers per game in the first round of the playoffs while making 56.5 percent of his shots from the field. Patterson ranked inside the top-100 with a -1.0 nERD during the season.
