Blake Griffin questionable for Clippers in Game 5 on Wednesday
Los Angeles Clippers forward/center Blake Griffin (quad) is questionable for Game 5 on Wednesday.
Griffin's quad started acting up towards the end of Game 4, and he was having trouble planting on it. "We’re not sure with Blake yet," Clips' coach Doc Rivers said. "I think he’ll get evaluated tomorrow when we get back. I would say 50-50 on the next game with him. I expect him to be back, but we don’t know that yet. So I don’t want to say much." If Griffin is unable to play on Wednesday, we'll see a lot more of Jeff Green, Wesley Johnson and Luc Mbah a Moute.
Griffin played 35 games this season, earning a 2.7 nERD, which fell just outside of the top 50. In the first round, he's averaging 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field.
