Salah Mejri warming up for Mavericks, status unclear
Dallas Mavericks center Salah Mejri (hip) is dressed for Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but his status is still unclear.
What It Means:
Dallas coach Rick Carlisle called him "out" earlier this evening, but it sounds like he might try to give it a go as the Mavericks try to extend this series. Zaza Pachulia should still get the plenty of minutes at center tonight.
Mejri had an encouraging rookie campaign, averaging 11.3 points per-36 minutes on a 63.6 True Shooting Percentage while sporting a 17.0 percent Total Rebound Rate in the regular season. His 1.0 nERD ranked 70th in the league. Mejri has averaged 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per game during the series.
