Dennis Schroder (ankle) is a game-time call for Hawks
Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder (sprained ankle) went through shootaround and is a game-time call for Game 3 versus the Boston Celtics on Friday.
X-rays were negative, and the injury isn't believed to be serious. However, the Hawks will want to see how his ankle responds in the pre-game warmups before making a final decision. If Schroder is held out, Jeff Teague could see a few more minutes, and Kirk Hinrich would take over as the backup point guard.
Schroder fell outside of the top 100 with a -3.1 nERD on the year and finished with per game averages of 11.0 points, 4.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Schroder is averaging 4.0 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 25.0 percent shooting from the field through the first two playoff games.
