DeAndre Jordan doles out career-high five assists, Clippers go up 2-0
Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan scored only three points on Wednesday, but he corralled 18 rebounds (five offensive) with a career-high-tying five assists and three blocks in 34 minutes.
Jordan made just 1-of-6 at the line and 1-of-4 from the field, but his presence was keenly felt, helping the Clippers defend their home court for a 2-0 lead in the first round. The Clippers' rebound rate ranked 29th this season while the Blazers ranked 10th, but through two games, the Clips are winning the battle of the boards 100-92.
Jordan finished the regular season in the top 10 with a 12.7 nERD. Through two postseason contests, he's averaging 10.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks on a 54.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage.
