D'Angelo Russell (illness) starting Tuesday night for Timberwolves; Malik Beasley back to bench
Minnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell will start Tuesday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Russell missed the last couple games of the regular season due to a non-COVID illness. But in the first contest of the play-in tournament, he has been fully cleared to return to the court. Russell will immediately start at point guard in his return, sending Malik Beasley back to a bench role.
Our models project Russell for 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 34.6 FanDuel points across 34.2 minutes of action.
