Paul George could rest for Pacers' final two games
Indiana Pacers forward Paul George is a candidate to sit out the final two games of the regular season.
George said he'd talk to the coaches and training staff about whether it was more important to keep the seven seed or to get some extra rest, so we may not get an update on his status until Tuesday. If George does elect to sit for the last two contests, C.J. Miles and Solomon Hill would see more minutes with Monta Ellis receiving an indirect boost in short-term value, as well.
George has been impressive this season, posting the 29th best nERD at 5.9 in 80 games played. He's averaging 23.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.6 3-pointers while posting a 55.7 True Shooting Percentage, eclipsing his 54.8 percent career-average.
