Suns topple Houston behind P.J. Tucker's career-high 24
Phoenix Suns small forward P.J. Tucker scored a career-high 24 points during a 124-115 win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday, adding 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
The Rockets had too much Tucker in their lives for this game in one of his best games ever. Tucker has always picked up some added run against high-end scorers and he picked up 37 minutes Thursday night against James Harden. He will be hit and miss the rest of the way, but this had to feel good for the Suns to basically knock the Rockets out of the postseason.
Tucker is outside of the top-100 with a -4.2 nERD on the year. He's averaging 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game on 40.8 percent shooting from the field.
