Mitchell Robinson (hip) ruled out for Knicks against 76ers
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson has been ruled out for Monday versus the Philadelphia 76ers due to a hip flexor.
Robinson will be held out of the second leg of the back-to-back. His minutes have taken a hit the last two games since Nerlens Noel made his debut, but the hip issue may also have been playing a factor. Noel, who has been cleared to play with a sore lower back, will likely start at center in place of Robinson. Taj Gibson is in line for more minutes off the bench and Julius Randle could see playing time at center. Joel Embiid (rest, protocols) is out for the 76ers.
Noel is averaging 1.02 FanDuel points per minute through three games and he has a $4,500 salary on Monday. The over/under in the 76ers-Knicks game (213.0) is the second-lowest total on numberFire's NBA Heat Map.
