Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis (shoulder) out against Mavericks
New York Knicks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (shoulder) will not play against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
He tweaked his shoulder on Monday and tried to play through it. The Knicks don't have their draft pick, so tanking won't do them any good. With Porzingis out, there should be more minutes for Derrick Williams and Kyle O'Quinn. There should be more shots for Robin Lopez, too.
Porzingis has had a great rookie season. Despite owning a -0.2 nERD, he is averaging 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. However, he needs to work on his efficiency as he owns an Effective Field Goal Percentage of only 46.7 percent.
