Warriors limiting Andrew Wiggins playing time Tuesday
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Andrew Wiggins will be on a minutes restriction Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Lakers because he missed part of the preseason, per head coach Steve Kerr.
Wiggins dealt with some "nicks and bruises" during the preseason and he will be on an unspecified minutes limit in Tuesday's opener. Draymond Green will also have a cap after missing a game for an excused absence. Despite the restrictions, Wiggins and Green will both start. Wiggins should be the Warriors' secondary scoring option behind Stephen Curry. Otto Porter Jr. could see a few more minutes with Wiggins limited.
numberFire's models project Wiggins ($7,200 salary on FanDuel) for 29.4 minutes and 27.2 FanDuel points on Tuesday. The Warriors have the lowest implied total on the board (111.5) and they are 3.0-point underdogs, per our NBA Heat Map.
