Raptors' Patrick Patterson (ankle) out Sunday versus Orlando

Toronto Raptors power forward/center Patrick Patterson (left ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Orlando Magic

What It Means:

Jason Thompson will likely pick up most of Patterson's minutes Sunday, but he rarely contributes meaningful statistics to the box score. Lucas Nogueira could also crack the rotation sans Patterson, but he too is a negligible fantasy option in most settings. The Raptors don't play again until Wednesday versus the Boston Celtics, so we'll be considering Patterson questionable for that one.

Patterson's nERD ranks 95th at -1.3 and he's played in 68 games this season. He's averaging 6.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, while posting a 52.7 True Shooting Percentage. We project Patterson to average 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over the remaining course of the season, while shooting 40.0 percent from the floor.
