Nuggets' Michael Porter Jr. (back) expected to play in Game 2 on Wednesday
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) is expected to play in Game 2 against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.
The Nuggets will wait until a final consultation with the training staff before announcing that Porter is officially available, but head coach Michael Malone "believes he'll be able to go". Porter is dealing with a back injury that occurred during the first half of Game 1 and slightly limited his minutes during the second half. If he is available, our models expect him to play 33.5 minutes against the Suns.
Porter's Game 2 projection includes 19.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 34.8 FanDuel points.
