Bucks' John Henson hopeful to practice Friday

Milwaukee Bucks forward John Henson (back) may get back on the practice floor Friday -- Bucks' coach Jason Kidd said -- and if all goes well, there's a chance he can play sometime next week.

What It Means:

Henson has had a tough time returning from a back injury which has cost him 18 games and counting. However, it looks as if the fourth-year pro is close to making his return.

Henson has a nERD of 0.7, and he is averaging 6.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 16.7 minutes per game. The Greg Monroe signing has cut into Henson's minutes, but he is still an important piece of the Bucks' rotation defensively with a Block Percentage of 10.1, which ranks second in the league among players with at least 40 appearances. His True Shooting Percentage of 59.4 percent is also a career high.
