Pelicans' Norris Cole headed for game-time call
New Orleans Pelicans guard Norris Cole (lower back) did not participate during shootaround and is headed for a game-time call for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Apparently Cole's 40 minutes against the Sacramento Kings left his back feeling sore, and if he misses the game tonight, it just adds to the growing list of injured members of the New Orleans' backcourt. If Cole misses, expect Toney Douglas to get all the minutes he can handle and for Jrue Holiday to handle the ball a lot.
Cole has the 11th worst nERD this season at -6.4. He is averaging 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 26.6 minutes per game.
