Jaylen Brown ruled out for Celtics Monday with hip contusion
Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown is out for Monday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a left hip contusion.
Evan Fournier (protocols) could draw the start if he's cleared to make his Celtics debut and Kemba Walker is also expected back after sitting out last game on the second leg of a back-to-back. Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart also stand to benefit from Brown being out.
Smart is numberFire's top value on the Celtics for Monday's 11-game slate. Our models project him for 30.9 FanDuel points versus the Pelicans and he has a salary of $5,500 on Monday.
