Elfrid Payton (hamstring) questionable for Knicks Tuesday

New York Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's game versus the Washington Wizards.

What It Means:

Payton has sat out the last five contests. Derrick Rose has cleared COVID-19 protocols but still needs to work on his conditioning and is unlikely to play Tuesday. Immanuel Quickley (ankle, probable) and Frank Ntilikina will likely take on most of the point guard minutes if Payton remains out. Quickley started Sunday and scored 10 points in 26 minutes.

Quickley is averaging 22.1 FanDuel points and 28.4 minutes over the last five games while shooting 41.2 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. The Wizards, Tuesday's opponent, are allowing the most FanDuel points per game to the point guard position this season.
