Cody Zeller (hip) expected to sit Friday for Hornets
Charlotte Hornets forward/center Cody Zeller (hip contusion) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors.
What It Means:
Zeller is now expected to sit out after previously being considered questionable. He made an early exit from Wednesday's game with a left hip contusion and never returned. Bismack Biyombo is the favorite to replace Zeller in the first unit while P.J. Washington should be more involved in smaller lineups.
numberFire’s models project Washington for 27.4 FanDuel points versus the Warriors and he has a salary of $5,600 on Friday’s nine-game slate. Washington is averaging an additional 9.2 FanDuel points per game when Zeller doesn't play this season.
