Alexey Shved turns down Knicks offer
The New York Post reports that Alexey Shved has turned down a third offer from the Knicks and his agent said he is considering a return to Europe.
What It Means:
Alexey Shved finished with the highest nERD on the Knicks last year at 1.1, and was one of only two Knicks players to finish with a positive nERD. The other was Cole Aldrich at 0.40. Shved’s 54.1 true shooting percentage led the Knicks among those who played at least 20 games, however that ranks 160th among all NBA players in the same group. Newcomers Arron Afflalo and Jerian Grant, along with the return of Carmelo, figure to eat into Shved's playing time if he returns.
