Pelicans' Nickeil Alexander-Walker starting on Wednesday with Lonzo Ball out
New Orleans Pelicans guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker will start on Wednesday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Alexander-Walker has been coming off the bench all year to this point, but the Pelicans are severely shorthanded on Wednesday. Three starters - Lonzo Ball, Eric Bledsoe and Zion Williamson - will be sidelined. As such, Alexander-Walker is jumping into the starting five, where he could remain until any of the aforementioned players return.
Our models currently project Alexander-Walker for 10.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 25.7 FanDuel points across 25.5 minutes of action.
