Malik Beasley re-signs with Minnesota on four-year, $60 million deal

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Malik Beasley has agreed to a four-year deal with the team worth $60 million, according to The Athletic's Sham Charania.

What It Means:

Beasley opts to remains with the Timberwolves after being traded to Minnesota from the Denver Nuggets in February. The 23-year-old played and started in 14 games for the Timberwolves last season after arriving from Denver. The former 19th overall draft pick in 2016's NBA draft was a restricted free agent, but quickly re-signed, a good sign that both parties want him in Minnesota for the foreseeable future.

Beasley averaged 11.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 18.0 FanDuel points per game during the 2019-20 season.
