Kings reportedly acquiring Donte DiVincenzo from Bucks
The Sacramento Kings are acquiring shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo from the Milwaukee Bucks, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Kings are sending Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Bucks in exchange for DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova, D.J. Wilson, and Justin James. DiVincenzo made 24 starts in 66 games and averaged 23.0 minutes for Milwaukee last season while emerging as a talented defensive player. He figures to see a larger role in Sacramento and could even potentially compete for the other guard spot next to De'Aaron Fox if Buddy Hield remains in a bench role. DiVincenzo turns 24 in January.
DiVincenzo averaged 21.0 FanDuel points per game last season with 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 3-pointers while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor and 33.6 percent from beyond the arc. He finished with the third-best defensive rating in the league and the 10th-highest steal percentage.
