Bucks acquiring Jrue Holiday from Pelicans for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, three firsts
The Milwaukee Bucks are acquiring point guard Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, and three future first-round picks, per multiple reports.
The Bucks also made a move for Bogdan Bogdanovic as they go all-in on winning an NBA championship and trying to convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign a long-term extension. Holiday's insertion into Milwaukee's lineup is a defensive upgrade for a team that already had the league's best defensive rating last season. He should also see a similar offensive role as he had in New Orleans as Bledsoe's replacement on the Bucks. Holiday turned 30 over the summer.
Holiday averaged 38.5 FanDuel points per game last season with 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.0 3-pointers. His usage rate of 24.6 percent was comparable to Bledsoe's 24.1 percent usage rate on the Bucks.
